Banana-Que: Fried Caramelized Banana on Stick

Banana-Que: Fried Caramelized Banana on Stick

You've heard about it -- Baltimore's Miss Shirley's has partnered with local artisanal frozen treats maker The Charmery for a special monthly soft ice cream pemutih wajah cream and waffles sandwich. The Charmery steps to the savory realm at its Hampden store by using these flavors as the weird but addictive Old Bay Caramel. Now, the two collaborators have formulated a Fried Green Tomato Ice Cream Waffle Sandwich! I was thrilled to be hosted to see it.

INGREDIENTS  ' 1 cup all-purpose flour, (spooned and leveled)  ' 2 tablespoons sugar  ' 2 teaspoons baking powder  ' 1/2 teaspoon salt  ' 1 cup milk  ' 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, or vegetable oil  ' 1 large egg  ' 1 tablespoon vegetable oil  ' Assorted toppings, like butter, maple syrup, confectioners' sugar, honey, jams, preserves, sweetened whipped cream, or chocolate syrup

"Frying whole turkeys is the Southern version of making fondue. You have a lots of your mates over, you poke around in a pot of herbal with many sticks, and then you grab your dinner. Justin Wilson, of Cajun fame, recalls first going to a turkey fry in Louisiana inside the 1930s."---Something Different: Deep-Fried Turkey, Beverly Bundy, St. Louis Dispatch, November 24, 1997 (Food p. 4)

'A KFC worker told News 13 there had been a problem with the cooker one time before. Family says they also informed the cooker had prior malfunctions,' a WLOS article states. It was reported how the twins were operating the appliance correctly during the time it exploded and Ty and AJ were explained coworkers as 'model employees.'

I have relinquished wanting to control what seems to be currently beyond my control. Any of you who write will understand my dilemma. There is a deadline to share but I have nothing to create! I considered using a previous article. However, not one of them jumped out at me beeing the right article. I even a fleeting looked at not publishing this month and quickly dismissed it as being a terrible idea! It goes against my philosophy on the need for arriving!
